Google Ads Agency in Canada | Managed, No Contract | Outgrow

Google Ads management

A Google Ads agency that makes the phone ring.

Google Ads campaign management for Canadian small businesses, with the landing page built to convert, on a monthly plan with no long-term contract. This is our real specialty, and it shows in the results.

What exactly do we manage?

We manage your Google Ads end-to-end (strategy, keywords, ad copy, bids, ongoing optimization) AND we build the landing page your ads point to. All of that for $999/month (Growth) or $1,499/month (Scale, which also adds Meta Ads). Your ad budget paid to Google stays separate and under your control.

Most small businesses make the same mistake: they pay an agency to run Google Ads, but their ads land on the generic home page. Visitors click, don't find what they're looking for fast, leave. Cost-per-click is high, cost-per-lead is even higher, and the agency blames the market.

At Outgrow we fix the problem at the source. When we launch your campaigns, we design the landing page in parallel. Ads and page are thought through together. Every dollar of ad spend works harder because the conversion rate is higher.

Concretely

Here's an account we manage right now.

A81 Dent Repair Google Ads dashboard: 100 conversions, 63,144 impressions, 1,233 clicks, 10.28% click share

A81 Dent Repair (Colorado). 100 conversions on 1,233 clicks (≈ 8% click-to-lead conversion rate) and 10.28% click share over 90 days. This is what happens when ads and the landing page are designed together.

What's included

Everything needed for every dollar to work.

No patching on top of a previous agency's setup. Everything is built together from scratch.

Campaign strategy

Keyword research, segmentation by buying intent, account structure built for long-term measurement and optimization.

Ad copywriting

Headlines, descriptions, extensions. Multiple variants tested to find what resonates with your local audience.

Dedicated landing page

We build the landing page your ads point to. This is what separates our results from the industry average.

Conversion tracking

Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, call tracking, form tracking configured from day one. We measure what actually matters.

Ongoing optimization

Bids, negative keywords, budget adjustments, ad tests. Performance gets better month over month, not the other way around.

Monthly reports

Plain language. How many clicks, how many leads, what it costs, what we're changing next month. Without the jargon.

Campaign types

The right ad format, at the right moment.

Google Ads is an ecosystem, not a single ad type. Depending on your industry and your goal, we assemble the formats that pay off fastest, without spreading budget across the ones that do nothing for you.

Search campaigns

The core of local lead generation. Your ads show when someone actively searches for your service: "plumber mississauga", "family lawyer calgary". The buying intent is already there; the job is to capture it.

Performance Max

Google's automated format that can serve across Search, Maps, YouTube, Discover, Gmail and the Display network. Powerful, on one condition: airtight conversion tracking, because that's what feeds the algorithm.

Remarketing and Display

Visitors who don't convert the first time keep seeing you while they shop around. Low cost, constant recall: ideal for decisions that take more than one visit.

Local and Maps ads

For service businesses, showing up in Maps and "near me" searches captures customers two blocks away, at the exact moment they're looking.

YouTube

Awareness targeted by territory and interest. Rarely the first format we launch for an SMB, but a profitable addition once your search campaigns plateau.

Tracking and attribution

Whatever the format: every campaign is wired into GA4 plus call and form tracking. We know exactly which campaign produced which lead, and reinvest where it pays.

More than ads

Your ads are step one. The page that converts is the rest.

Most Google Ads agencies optimize the click. We optimize the conversion. That's why our plans include building the landing page, and that's why our results show up in the numbers: 8% conversion rate for A81, against an industry average around 3-4% for the same kind of campaign.

If you already have a website, great. We can build dedicated landing pages alongside it, or optimize it directly. If you don't have a site (or have one that doesn't convert), we handle that through the appropriate plan.

Tell us your situation

Is Google Ads worth it for a small business?

Do the math before anyone's sales pitch, including ours. Take what a new customer is worth to you, then ask what you can afford to pay to acquire one. If a customer brings you $1,500 and a well-run account produces leads at $40 to $80 each, the answer is usually yes. If a customer brings you $50 once, search ads will struggle to pay for themselves.

That's the honest filter: Google Ads works best for businesses where one customer is worth hundreds or thousands of dollars (trades, clinics, professional services, B2B) and where people actively search when they need you. It works poorly for impulse products, tiny margins, or offers nobody searches for yet.

The second half of the equation is the account itself. The gap between a well-built account and a neglected one, on identical budgets, is routinely the difference between profitable and break-even. That's the part you control by choosing who manages it, which is exactly why the questions below matter more than any agency's promises.

Already running Google Ads? Get a second opinion.

If you're already spending on Google Ads (with another agency or on your own), the fastest way to know where you stand is an account review: structure, keywords, conversion tracking, and where the budget actually goes. We do it as part of the discovery call, and you keep the findings whether we work together or not.

The most common problems we find are unglamorous: conversion tracking that counts page views as leads, ad spend leaking into broad-match searches that will never buy, and campaigns pointed at a home page instead of a landing page built to convert. Problems like these rarely surface in a monthly summary; all of them show up in the account itself.

If the account is healthy, we'll tell you that too. A second opinion that only ever finds problems isn't an opinion, it's a sales pitch.

Management fees don't include the ad budget you pay directly to Google or Meta. We recommend a minimum of $1,000/month in ad spend to generate enough data to optimize.

Our process

From discovery call to first impression, in four steps.

01

Discovery call

30 minutes by video. We learn your offer, your best customers, your target budget, your service areas.

02

Strategy and build

Keyword research, account structure, ad copy, building the dedicated landing page.

03

Launch

Campaigns go live with conversion tracking configured. First impressions arrive on day one.

04

Monthly optimization

Bids, negative keywords, ad tests, budget adjustments. Performance climbs, not the opposite.

Your Google Ads account belongs to you.

The account, the campaigns, the conversion data and the full history stay your property. If you ever decide to leave, everything leaves with you. It's as simple as that.

It's the detail too many small businesses discover at the worst possible moment: some agencies create the ad account under their own name, inside their own structure. The day you want to switch agencies, the account doesn't follow you, and you can be left starting from zero. Optimization history gone, conversion data gone, machine learning back to square one. Google's algorithm learns over time; losing the history means paying for that learning twice.

At Outgrow, the account is created in your name and we work in it through manager access, without ever owning it. You see everything, at any time: every dollar spent, every change made, every result. The plan is month-to-month for exactly the same reason: we'd rather keep you through results than through paperwork.

Before you sign

How to choose a Google Ads agency?

Whether it's with us or someone else, ask these six questions before handing over your budget. The answers quickly separate serious campaign managers from click resellers.

1. Who owns the account?

If the answer isn't "you, unconditionally", keep shopping. Your data history represents months of algorithm learning, paid for out of your own budget.

2. Are the management fees clear?

A fixed price you can see, or a transparent percentage. Be wary of structures where the agency earns more when you spend more, with no link to your results.

3. Who builds the landing page?

If the agency manages the ads but sends traffic to your home page, half the job isn't being done. The page that receives the click decides the cost per lead.

4. Is there a long-term contract?

Six or twelve-month commitments tend to protect the agency more than the client. A month-to-month plan you can cancel keeps everyone motivated, every month.

5. How are conversions measured?

Calls, forms, bookings: if tracking isn't configured from day one, every optimization decision is made blind.

6. Can you understand the reports?

You should understand every report without a marketing dictionary: how much went in, how many leads came out, at what cost, and what changes next month.

Service areas

A Google Ads agency for your city.

We manage campaigns for SMBs across Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and beyond. Google Ads management is delivered 100% remotely, so the city your business is in doesn't change our ability to help. It does change your advertising market, and we account for that.

Dedicated city pages for Google Ads management are coming online as we activate new local clients. Don't see your city? Book a call: we work across Canada.

Toronto and the GTA

One of the most competitive advertising markets in the country: when more advertisers compete for the same searches, account quality becomes even more valuable. A tight campaign with a landing page built to convert can beat much bigger budgets that are poorly managed.

Talk about your market

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

A metro where geographic targeting earns its keep: a well-set radius keeps budget focused on the neighbourhoods your business actually serves, from Burnaby to North Vancouver, instead of paying for clicks across the whole Lower Mainland.

Talk about your market

Calgary and Edmonton

Alberta's two metros reward seasonal planning: heating in winter, landscaping and renovation in summer. Budgets that flex with demand, instead of running flat all year, tend to buy noticeably more leads for the same total spend.

Talk about your market

Montreal

A genuinely bilingual market. We run separate English and French campaigns, each with its own keywords, ads and landing page in the right language, so you capture both audiences without doubling the budget. One campaign speaking both languages halfway captures neither.

Talk about your market

Ottawa-Gatineau

Two provinces, two languages, one metro area. Campaigns here need clean geographic and language splits so an Ontario service business isn't paying for clicks across the river it can't serve, and vice versa.

Talk about your market

Winnipeg and the Prairies

Advertising competition is generally softer than in the big coastal metros. When fewer advertisers bid on a keyword, the same budget buys more visibility: a real advantage for an SMB getting started with Google Ads.

Frequently asked

Clear answers before we talk.

How much does Google Ads management cost at Outgrow?

Google Ads management is included in the Growth plan at $999/month and the Scale plan at $1,499/month (which also adds Meta Ads). Management fees cover strategy, campaign builds, ongoing optimization, and tracking. Your ad budget paid to Google is separate and stays under your control.

How much should I plan to spend on ad budget?

We recommend a minimum of $1,000/month in ad spend to generate enough data to optimize. Most of our Canadian clients spend between $1,500 and $5,000/month, on top of management fees. The right amount depends on your industry, local competition, and your lead goals.

How long until Google Ads starts generating leads?

First impressions and clicks arrive on day one of launch. The first qualified leads typically come in within the first week. Ongoing optimization takes 4 to 8 weeks to stabilize a profitable cost-per-lead. Unlike SEO, Google Ads doesn't require patience to get started.

Google Ads vs SEO: which should I choose?

Google Ads generates leads from day one but stops when you stop paying. SEO takes months to ramp up but the traffic becomes free over time. Most SMBs do both: Google Ads for immediate leads, SEO as a long-term investment. We can help you balance the two.

Why bundle the website with Google Ads management?

Because the best-targeted ads in the world don't convert if the landing page is bad. When we manage your campaigns AND your site, we build the landing page specifically so your ads perform. That's exactly what we did for A81 Dent Repair, now converting at 8 percent.

Do you also manage Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)?

Yes, in the Scale plan at $1,499/month. We combine Google Ads (buyer intent) with Meta Ads (awareness, retargeting) to cover the full customer journey. For most SMBs, we recommend starting with Google Ads before adding Meta.

What does a Google Ads agency cost in Canada?

Under the pricing models common in the industry, management is billed either as a fixed monthly fee or as a percentage of your ad spend. At Outgrow it's a fixed $999/month that includes full management AND the landing page, with no percentage on your budget: your costs don't rise because you invest more.

Does my Google Ads account belong to me?

Yes. The account is created in your name and stays your property: campaigns, history and conversion data included. If we stop working together, you keep everything. Always verify this point before signing anywhere: when the ad account belongs to the agency rather than to you, leaving can mean starting over from zero.

Can you take over an existing Google Ads account?

Yes. We start with a full audit: account structure, keywords, conversion tracking, performance history. What works stays in place, what leaks gets fixed, and you keep all the learning history your account has accumulated.

How do I know if my campaigns are actually performing?

Three numbers tell most of the story: cost per lead (not cost per click), the share of spend going to searches that can actually buy from you, and whether conversions are tracked accurately in the first place. If your current report doesn't show cost per lead, that's usually the first thing to fix.
